Training Plane Crashes in Madhya Pradesh After Hitting Power Lines

A training plane has reportedly crashed in Amgaon, Seoni district, Madhya Pradesh. According to reports, the training aircraft crashed after colliding with a 33 KV high-voltage power line. The accident occurred around 6:30 PM. Trainer pilot Ajit Anthony and trainee pilot Ashok Chhabra were injured in the plane crash. Both are currently receiving treatment. Following the accident, power supply was disrupted in approximately 90 villages.

According to information, the training plane was preparing to land after taking off from the Suktara airstrip. During this time, the plane's wings struck the lower part of the 33 KV power line near the Badalpar substation. A loud explosion followed the collision, and sparks flew from the wires. The plane then crashed into a field. However, the power line tripped immediately after the collision, preventing a larger disaster. Villagers rushed the pilots to the hospital. Both pilots are currently reported to be out of danger.

According to news agency ANI, Subhash Rai, Executive Engineer of Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company, said, "Due to the broken wires, power supply has been disrupted in about 90 villages in the Badalpar and Gwari substation areas. Maintenance work is currently underway."
