Chinese string kills student

A tragic accident occurred on the Tejaji Nagar bypass on Sunday, killing a 16-year-old student after his neck was slit by a Chinese string. The injured student was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead due to excessive bleeding. Police have sent the body to MY Hospital for a post-mortem examination and have initiated an investigation into the matter.

Accident occurred while returning from Ralamandal
According to information received, the deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Gulshan, son of Ram Kishan, a resident of Omaxe City. Gulshan was returning home on a bike with his brother Arun and two friends, Vishal and Krishna, who had visited Ralamandal on Sunday morning. On their way back, a kite string suddenly flew towards the bike and slammed into Gulshan's neck, causing a deep cut.

Bike-riding companions also sustained injuries.
Gulshan's brother and friends, who were on the bike with him, also tried to grab the manjha to remove it, resulting in injuries to their hands. However, the wound on Gulshan's neck was very deep. He succumbed to excessive bleeding before reaching the hospital. Gulshan was originally from Tikri Ashok Nagar. He was an 8th-grade student and, along with his studies, helped his father, who worked as a laborer, to support his family.

Sales Continue Despite the Ban
It is noteworthy that Indore Collector Shivam Verma recently banned the purchase, sale, and storage of Chinese manjha on November 25th. The administration had clarified that this manjha is lethal to both humans and animals. Despite this, its use continues in the city, resulting in this tragic incident. The administration has vowed to take strict action against those violating the order.
